He enjoyed working in the parking lot during calling hours, helping people out of their cars and always handing out pieces of candy. Now retired, people still ask about him and those special candies. Charlie loved the rose gardens he planted at Commerce Hill he would spend hours out there, picking out the right roses to display in the funeral home."
