Obituary for Joseph S. Scarapicchia

Joseph (Bebe) Scarapicchia age 82 of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest on Monday October 3, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was a retired employee for Pontillo Waste and the City of Bridgeport, Board of Education for 19 years. Survivors include his loving wife Theresa D’Amato Scarapicchia of 55 years, sons Joseph and Nicholas Scarapicchia, daughter Denise and sister Mae Manzo. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph is predeceased by his parents Nazzoreno and Louise Pontillo Scarapicchia, brother Angelo Scarapicchia, sisters Rose Camarro, Theresa Capuano and Lucy DeLoma.
Calling hours will take place on Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 5 to 7pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Bridgeport followed by interment in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. The family asks that flowers be omitted.
