Obituary for Edna P. Schneider (Poitras)

Edna Schneider passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Edna was born on January 8, 1917 to the late Frank and Helen Poitras. She is predeceased by her beloved husband John Edward Schneider, her daughter Pamala Sotir and Grandson John Robert Schneider. Edna was an avid reader and an accomplished knitter. Most of her knitting was done for the veterans, hospitals or anyone who needed gloves, scarfs, hats etc. All of which she gave away. Her most outstanding accomplishment, in knitting, was winning the Blue Ribbon at the "Big-E" in 2010. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends. We should not mourn her passing............but celebrate knowing her. That would be the best sendoff we could give.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 4pm in St. George Church, 443 Park Ave Bridgeport. .
