Obituary for MaryAnn Nogueras (Fernandez)

MaryAnn Nogueras, age 78 passed away peacefully on April 21, 2017 at her home in Bridgeport, CT. MaryAnn was born April 17, 1939, in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of late Elisa Adorno and Santiago Nieves. MaryAnn loved to crochet and knit for her grandchildren, she loved fishing and at a younger age MaryAnn was the coach of a softball team. MaryAnn is survived by her sister Carmen Martinez from Vega Alta, P.R., her brother Delfin Santiago from Bridgeport, her children Eloise Nogueras from Fairfield, Miguel Nogueras from Bridgeport and Michelle Heyer and her husband Miguel Heyer from Bridgeport. MaryAnn is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. MaryAnn is truly loved and will be missed by many friends and family.
Calling hours will take place on Monday April 24, 2017 from 4 to 7pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport. In abiding with MaryAnn’s wishes, interment will be private.
