Obituary for John C. Merz

John C. Merz age 89 of Bridgeport died on May 31, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Bergenfield, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth Merz. A resident of Bridgeport for over 60 years, he was a retired engineer having worked for 28 years at Avco Lycoming where he was a member of their Quarter Century Club. A Veteran of WWII serving in the US Army.

A Memorial Service will take place on Monday June 12, 2017 at 3pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport with visitation starting at 2:15pm in the funeral home.
