Robert "Bobby Hollywood" Barresi age 69 entered eternal rest on October 3, 2018. Robert was born on September 14, 1948 in Bridgeport, CT. Bobby was a retired director from Sikorsky aircraft serving over 35 years for the company. At Sikorsky, Bobby traveled the world and was instrumental in numerous projects including, Skunkworks, Blackhawk and the S-76. Bob was a friend to all and was considered the "Manager" amongst his friends and family. Bobby would often jump in on projects and help whomever he could. Bobby had a vigor and lust about life that hasn't been replicated by many. Hollywood will be sorely missed by all.
Bobby is survived by his three children Michael and wife Carri-Ann Barresi of Jupiter Florida, Peter and Heather Barresi of Sandy Hook Connecticut and Jacqueline and Thomas (Barresi) O'Connor of Jeffersonville Vermont. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashlyn, Wyatt, Sarah-Kate, Jackson, Charlotte-Ann and Kennedy. He is pre-deceased by his father, Philip Barresi and his mother Jean (Grant) Barresi.
Calling hours will take place on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 4 to 7pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11am in St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, followed by reception at Sandy Hook Fire and Rescue, 18-20 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook.
