Obituary for Josephine A. Zavatsky (Kwiatkowski)

Josephine Kwiatkowski Zavatsky age 91 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of over 38 years to the late John Zavatsky died peacefully on Thursday January 11, 2018. Born in Bridgeport where she was a lifelong resident, she was a retired receptionist for the Fairfield County Respiratory Group. A devoted and faithful parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church, she was the former president of St. Michael Senior Guild. A kind and gently lady, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her devoted son John M. Zavatsky and his wife Susan of Stamford, her sister Dorothy Bepko of Virginia, four adoring grandchildren, Michael, Alison, Matthew and Daniel, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Jodi, O’Keefe.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday January 19, 2018 at 12pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport with private interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Calling hours will take place Friday morning after 11am in the funeral home. Please note, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Church, 310 Pulaski St. Bridgeport, 06608.
