Helen (Kozlowski) Drazdowsky age 92 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of 48 years to the late Joseph Drazdowsky died peacefully on Thursday January 11, 2018. Born in Scranton, PA., she was the daughter of the late Felix and Maryanna Radjuin Kozlowski. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, she was the office manager for the law firm Pullman and Comley from 1964-1991. Family always came first for Helen, she cherished time spent with her grandson James. She was a member of the Mill River Country Club in Stratford where she enjoyed Golf, Bowling, and Bridge with her countless number of friends.
Helen is survived by her son Richard Drazdowsky and his wife Bonnie of Milford, grandson James Drazdowsky and his wife Nicole and two loving great-grandchildren Lukas and Sophia Drazdowsky. Special recognition must be given to the 4th floor staff at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center for their relentless attention to care, comfort and compassion. They will always remember Helen for her signature Dunkin Donuts coffee cups and trademark smile.
Calling hours will take place on Monday January 15, 2018 from 5 to 7pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30am in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charities of one’s choice.
